The Wheel Room

This is where it all happens...The Wheel Room at Staffordshire Wheel Works.

All benches are carpeted to protect your rims and hubs. 

Some common spokes are kept in stock. (Some Harley sizes, Royal Enfields and some of the more common British bikes). Any others I can make within a few days. I stock blanks in plated or stainless steel and have the necessary tooling for bending, cutting and thread rolling.

Similarly all common sizes of nipples are stocked in Nickel Plated Brass. Again, any specials can be sourced within about a week or so.

In the photos you'll see a Park Tools truing jig for bicycle wheels (Park Tools are an American company and they produce the best bicycle tools available) and the heavier jig is for motorcycle wheels catering for rim widths up to 8 inches.

You may have your own places to escape. One of mine is the Wheel Room.

A good cup of tea, some Deep Purple and a Harley wheel to build!
